The Chaitra Festivals API returns all major Hindu festivals, vrats, and observances that fall in the lunar month of Chaitra, based on the Panchang. It includes festivals such as Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Rang Panchami, Ram Navami, Chaitra Navaratri (all 9 days), Sheetla Ashtami, Kamada Ekadashi, and more, along with important muhurats like abhishekam times, parana windows, and ghatasthapana timings.

Implementation Notes

Use Authorization: Bearer {Your Auth Token} and {Your API Key} securely; never expose them in client-side code.

Provide date, time, and coordinates in correct numeric formats; use decimal timezone values (e.g., 5.5).

Check HTTP status codes, log responses, and handle 4xx/5xx errors gracefully.

Defaults are lan=en and house_system=P across the DivineAPI suite; this endpoint does not accept lan/house_system.

Test via Postman first and always use HTTPS for secure communication.
